Home Information Packs

Selling your Home

 

 

Since 14th December 2007, you will need to commission a Home Information Pack before you can put your house up for sale, unless you fall within an exemption category.   Please speak to Timms and we can provide advice and can arrange a Home Information Pack for you which is compliant with the new Regulations. 

 

Getting the correct advice will help you to place your property on the market quickly and your Conveyancer will have all of your information to hand when you finally sell your property.  The HIP can then be taken to the Estate Agent of your choice.

 

Speak to your Conveyancer at Timms before you put your property on the market. Your Conveyancer can prepare the documentation that you will need in order to sell your property.  Once you have found a buyer, Timms can issue the documentation quickly to your Buyer's Conveyancer upon notification.  This will speed up the conveyancing process and assist you in achieving a quick exchange of contracts and completion.
