We have a strong team who can advise on all areas of family law. Within the team we have some particularly strong areas of expertise. Two members of the team are on the Children Panel which means that they can represent Children in relation to care proceedings, this requires regular attendance at local courts and courts throughout the East Midlands including the High court where complex cases are often dealt with.

 

 

Three members of our team are also Resolution Accredited members. Resolution is an organisation begun by family lawyers themselves in an effort to reduce the acrimony in divorce proceedings, this organisation has clear codes of practice and all members of the Timms family team approach cases in line with this code of practice to ensure efficient and sympathetic service to our clients. Resolution Accredited members have to demonstrate a high level of expertise in their chosen areas and have to meet stringent requirements through external assessment which means that you can be assured of their professionalism.

 

In an emergency we will provide you with clear and straightforward advice and take urgent action if needed to protect you and your family.

 

We do have a Legal Services Commission franchise and can assess your eligibility for Public Funding (legal Aid) so that form the day of your first interview we should be able to tell you if you can receive legal advice with the benefit of financial support from the legal services commission.
